DeLaney Joins American Greetings Properties
American Greetings Properties (AGP), the intellectual property and outbound licensing division of American Greetings Corporation, a preeminent player in the children’s entertainment and licensing industry, has announced that Gia DeLaney has joined the team as vice president of program sales.
“We’re thrilled to have Gia join the team as we continue to expand the global presence of our brands,” said Jeffrey Conrad, president of AGP. “With her experience in the industry, we know that she will contribute to the next chapter in AGP’s history of success in children’s licensing and entertainment.”
DeLaney came to AGP from 4Kids Entertainment, Inc., where she served as vice president of international program sales. She joined 4Kids Entertainment in 2003 and was responsible for selling programming to free-tv, pay-tv and home video companies in a wide geographic area including Canada, Scandinavia, Greece, Australia, South Africa, The Netherlands, Israel and Asia. Prior to 4Kids, DeLaney served as Manager, Acquisitions with Showtime Networks in addition to working as Associate Producer for ABC-TV’s, “Good Morning America.”
In her role as vice president of program sales, DeLaney will be responsible for selling both classic and new AGP entertainment globally including Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, Maryoku Yummy and Twisted Whiskers, among others.
