Delta Welcomes Walker, Somboun
Delta Children's Products (www.deltaenterprise.com)
named Kevin Walker the new sales director of Simmons Kids Furniture
and Delta Children's Products. Walker comes to Delta from Stanley Furniture
Company, where he served as vice president of product and sales management.
He brings 25 years of industry experience to the companies.
Delta CEO Joseph Shamie remarked "I am pleased to bring Kevin Walker
on board to strengthen our focus on specialty store business. His sales
background in infant and youth product will serve us well in his new
role at Simmons and Delta." Walker's responsibilities also include expansion
within the license youth category.
News of Walker's new position comes on the heels of another recent new
hire; April Somboun recently joined Delta as digital marketing manager.
She leads all of Delta's marketing initiatives by reaching out to consumers
through online strategies. Walker and Somboun will work together on
their initiatives to grow Delta and Simmon.
