Only 70 days left to ABC Kids Expo 2013!

Check out this new exhibitor at ABC in Las Vegas:

The Champion children's desk from German manufacturer Moll, distributed in the U.S. by Moll Desks USA, is a complete workstation that grows along with a child. The Champion can adjust in height, width and depth, allowing a child to use it from first grade through high school. It is available in versions that allow the left side, the right side or the entire desktop to tilt upward for easier reading, writing or drawing. Other features include a detachable, portable book holder; a magnetic anti-slip feature that keeps books safely in place when the desktop is tilted, and can also be used as ruler and magnifying glass; and a roomy cable duct at the back for storing wires and plugs.

To see the Champion desk, visit the Moll Desks USA booth (#6937) at The ABC Kids Expo, October 15-18, 2013.

German show enhances design exhibit

Kind + Jugend (Child + Youth), the trade show for children's products being held Sept. 19-22 in Cologne, Germany, will feature its "kidsroomZOOM" design show in a dedicated "park" in Hall 10.1.

The aim of kidsroomZOOM! is to create products designed with a child's point of view in mind. kidsroomZOOM! is a joint effort by international designers, artists, producers, users, publishers and curators.

"With the design park, we are strengthening the Kind + Jugend portfolio in the area of contemporary design for children's rooms," says Katharina Hamma, chief operating officer at Koelnmesse GmbH, the show's sponsor. "Even when it comes to the design of children's rooms, individuality and lifestyle play an increasingly important role."

Curator for kidsroomZOOM! is unduetrestella of Milan, Italy, a special project of design and contemporary art for children directed by Paola Noé. A total of some 40 designers from all over Europe are participants in this special show.

Aprons make preschoolers chic in the kitchen

Fashionable, trendy Kidz Aprons from Douglas Co. let little ones make holiday cookies or create holiday crafts while dressing up just like mom in their very own apron, in just their size.

There are four Kidz Aprons to fit the style of every young fashionista. This initial offering, an expansion of the Christine Clarke Sassy Kidz Fashion, includes Peppermint Candy, Hot Jazz, Fly Away and Girls Rock. These new aprons are totally functional and machine-washable, in floral prints and designs with coordinating stripes and polka dots.

Douglas' Kidz Aprons are 21 inches long and are a perfect fit for children ages 3 to 5. They come with their very own Christine Clarke designer hanger for easy display.

Douglas products are sold at specialty gift and toy stores in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Douglas' Kids Aprons are expected on store shelves in September.

'Jammie jars' package baby sleepwear

Jammies prêt-à-porter are delicious little luxuries that are just about sweet enough to eat. A collection of stylish, ultra-luxe comfort wear for babies, Jammies pieces come packaged in adorable little jam jars that make for the ultimate baby shower - or anytime - gift.

Catering to newborns through 9 months, each Jammies garment arrives in its own jar made of recycled, BPA-free plastic. The jars are modern and sophisticated, and can be reused for q-tips, cotton balls, make-up pads, or your little one's socks.

Ribbed bodysuits with side snaps, pants with kneepads and jumpsuits are some of the adorable garments that Jammies offers. Crafted with the softest cottons and rayons, each piece is both comfortable and practical for babies. With a solid base of gray (otherwise known as poppyseed), oatmeal or cream, fun flares are added with brightly colored trims, using catchy flavor-type names like Persimmon, Plum and Pear. Polka dots and a limited edition holiday jar have been added to the fall/winter 2013-14 collection.

Onesie eases diaper changes

ZIPaboo is the patent-pending baby footed onesie that lets parents zip through diaper changes. ZIPaboo has a strategically placed zipper that starts at the base of one leg, circles the belly and moves down the opposite leg, allowing for a quick and easy diaper change at any time. Once unzipped, the fabric flap folds forward and gives the parent immediate access to the infant's diaper and both legs without exposing their chest to the cold air or tugging at their legs.

Candy dispensers are fun, versatile

Radz are collectible toy candy dispensers that come in more than 250 characters. Children dispense the candy by pushing back on the little round creature's cap or hair, causing the tongue to pop out with a piece of gluten-free, peanut-free, kosher candy. In addition, each dispenser comes with a code that allows online access to exclusive videos, games and more at RadzWorld.com. The dispensers also come with clips for attaching to belts or backpacks.
